Job summary

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking a Social Worker to join the Adult Mental Health Service in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. This ongoing, full-time role provides specialist psychosocial assessments, recovery-focused interventions and collaboration across health and community services.

Applicants should hold an eligible degree for Australian Association of Social Workers membership and demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health assessment with adults.
• Strong understanding of psychosocial factors influencing community mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and contribute to care planning.
• Deliver evidence-informed individual and group interventions supporting recovery and community participation.
• Collaborate with consumers, carers and external agencies to coordinate care across health and community systems.
• Provide consultation, advocacy and liaison to support safe transitions of care.
