Job summary
CiMaS is seeking compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AINs) and Support Workers to join our community care team across Ipswich and surrounding areas. You will provide personalised care in clients’ homes, working with Registered Nurses to support independence and community connections.
We offer a competitive casual hourly rate of $45.29 per hour, inclusive of casual loading, with shift allowances and superannuation.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or equivalent.
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence and willingness to travel in the Ipswich region.
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred personal care including hygiene, dressing, toileting, mobility and meals.
- Support medication administration and other prescribed care activities with Registered Nurse guidance.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal prep, cleaning, laundry and shopping.
- Support clients to attend appointments and access community services.
- Encourage independence and meaningful connections with family and community.
- Monitor wellbeing, document observations and report changes promptly to the care team.
