NSW Health in Sydney’s SESLHD area is seeking a Health Education Officer Graduate to contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating programs for Healthy Children and Young People. The role operates within and across Equity and Prevention Service teams, delivering targeted community programs and guidance to tailor projects to local needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage time effectively, and utilize Microsoft Office while maintaining strong communication.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, welfare or related social sciences, and relevant equivalent work experience.
• Experience in project management delivering programs to identified communities.
• Experience in resource development and co-design with community consultation.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, including report writing and facilitation.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• High level skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Current NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs to support the Healthy Children and Young People team to achieve business and service objectives.
• The role will work across teams in the Equity and Prevention Service to deliver targeted programs to identified communities and support partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Provide advice and guidance in relation to tailoring projects to the needs of the community.
