Job summary

Des's Group is seeking a reliable, customer-focused bus driver to join our community transport team. This role offers 20 hours per week with above‑award pay and flexible shifts that suit family and study commitments.

You will drive minibus/11‑27 seater vehicles, complete daily routes, follow run sheets, and maintain accurate records while delivering safe, comfortable journeys for passengers, including school runs and charter work.

Qualifications

• A current C-Class driver's licence (or higher).
• Small Passenger (SP) or Large Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation, or willingness to obtain.
• Proven safe driving record and understanding of Australian road rules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, reliable, and motivated with a professional approach to work.
• Accurate and up-to-date record keeping is essential for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers.
• Deliver high-quality customer service on every trip.
• Operate vehicles in line with OHS policies and transport regulations.
• Follow run sheets and maps to complete daily routes efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily paperwork.
• Store the assigned vehicle at home or depot as required.
