As a Community Engagement Manager, you'll work closely with customers, community organisations, Indigenous leaders, service providers and government stakeholders to strengthen financial inclusion, improve banking accessibility and deliver meaningful outcomes for individuals, families and communities. • Deliver financial education and community engagement initiatives
  • Partner with Indigenous organisations, councils and service providers to identify local needs and opportunities
  • Represent Westpac within communities and advocate for positive customer outcomes
  • Contribute to outreach activities that strengthen access to banking in remote locations
What do I need?
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, customer advocacy, social services, financial inclusion, Indigenous engagement, relationship management or customer service
  • Strong stakeholder / relationship buildings skills with a warm, empathetic and agile approach
  • A passion for supporting Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Cultural awareness and a genuine appreciation for diversity and inclusion
  • Ability to work autonomously across geographically dispersed locations
  • Experience delivering education, coaching, or capability‑building programs
  • Will for regular travel to Tennant Creek and other remote communities to provide on‑the‑ground support
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate travel schedules, community needs and service delivery requirements
