Job summary

Whittlesea is seeking an Education and Engagement Facilitator to strengthen community participation among children, young people and families through the development and delivery of education programs. The role focuses on coordinating partnerships with early childhood providers, youth services and family support agencies to create inclusive opportunities and events.

You will work within a Continual Improvement framework, reporting on programs and collaborating with the Access and Engagement

Qualifications

Hold a tertiary qualification with a minimum 5 years' experience in early childhood, education, health, welfare, social work, community development or community services.
Build relationships with stakeholders and networks.
Plan, develop, monitor and report on programs and sessions.
Coordinate events and initiatives.
Facilitate collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Build community participation and capacity of children, young people and families through access to internal and external programs and services.
Develop partnerships with early childhood providers, youth services and family support agencies to create coordinated education initiatives.
Identify and improve processes to support access for all families, especially the most vulnerable.
Work with the Access and Engagement Coordinator to plan and implement education programs and events.
