• Provide educational counselling and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across multiple schools.
• Develop and participate in school and community activities to raise student engagement and family involvement.
• Implement support programs tailored to educational needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
• Build and maintain connections with external support services and share cultural knowledge.
• Advise school administrators on cultural and social matters and manage funded programs.

As a Community Education Counsellor (Identified), you will help strengthen connections between the school, families and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, supporting student engagement, wellbeing and educational success.

Your opportunity:

• Provide educational counselling and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across multiple schools.
• Develop and participate in school and community activities that encourage student engagement and strengthen family involvement in education.
• Implement support programs tailored to the educational needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their school communities.
• Build and maintain connections with external support services and share cultural knowledge and information to promote understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and protocols.
• Advise school administrators on relevant cultural and social matters, manage funded programs responsibly, and foster positive partnerships across the school community.
