Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a community development professional to support place-based, person-led practice and strengthen participatory approaches in service design and innovation. You will coordinate programs for vulnerable groups, build trust with local stakeholders, and translate community insights into improved outcomes across Wagga Wagga and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in community development work.
• NSW Driver's Licence.
• Strong understanding of community development and asset-based approaches.
• Experience working with people experiencing social exclusion, trauma, homelessness or unemployment.
• Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate programs, activities and events for vulnerable groups.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
• Police check and Working with Children check required prior to an offer of employment.
• A health / medical assessment may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate programs, activities and events for vulnerable groups.
• Facilitate collaboration across sectors to increase collective impact.
• Translate community insights and evaluation into improved approaches and outcomes.
• Build trust with local teams, community leaders and partner organisations.
