Bathurst Community Transport is seeking reliable Bus Drivers for casual shifts in Bathurst, NSW. You will transport passengers safely, showcase the Bathurst region, and provide a welcoming, high-quality service. Weekend work, winery tours, and transfers are common, with emphasis on safety and passenger comfort.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Light Rigid (LR) or higher bus driving licence for the vehicles operated.
• Bus Driver Authority or willingness to obtain one.
• National Police Check with no disqualifying offences.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Demonstrated experience as a bus/coach driver or equivalent driving background.
• Strong knowledge of Bathurst roads, routes and geography.
• Excellent customer service with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional conduct and provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
• Transport passengers to designated destinations in a professional manner.
• Operate buses safely and in accordance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, especially those with mobility needs.
• Follow schedules and communicate delays to passengers and supervisors.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for roadworthiness.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues to management.
