Job summary

Des's Group in Adelaide, Australia is seeking a casual Bus Driver (Minibus / 11–27 Seater) to join our community-focused team. You’ll provide safe, comfortable journeys and deliver high-quality customer service across school runs, transport, and charter work.

You must hold a current LR licence and, preferably, Small Passenger (SP) or Large Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation, or be willing to obtain. Training is provided and no prior bus experience is required.

Qualifications

• Current LR driver’s licence required.
• Small Passenger (SP) or Large Passenger (LP) Vehicle Driver Accreditation, or willingness to obtain.
• Proven safe driving record and understanding of Australian road rules.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, reliable and motivated with a professional approach to work.
• Accurate and up-to-date record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and comfortable journey for all passengers.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure each trip is enjoyable.
• Operate vehicles according to OHS policies and Department of Infrastructure and Transport regulations.
• Follow run sheets and maps for daily routes; no need to know streets by heart.
• Store your assigned vehicle at home or at the depot; maintain records and keep vehicles compliant.
