What’s on offer? We are seeking an entry‑level Communications Officer to join us on a full-time basis, in our Maroochydore office, supporting the North Coast Road Asset Management Contract. As a passionate and committed individual, you will support internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement activities. You will assist in developing and distributing communication tools such as flyers, emails, media statements and social media collateral; and undertaking engagement activities such as door‑knocking, meeting and phoning stakeholders about maintenance works. You will also work with the Project and Management Teams to assist with strategic communications and engagement planning and help with internal communications by preparing presentations and reports, organising workshops and meetings, and supporting community relations activities.

As a preferred candidate you will hold or be studying a relevant tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, public relations, or another related field. In addition, you will have confidence in delivering production of content across a range of channels including video, digital and publications, and have advanced writing and editing skills.
