Turn knowledge into influence.
A fast-growing consulting firm specialising in the insurance sector is looking for a commercially minded Corporate Communications Manager to turn the knowledge, expertise and intelligence within the business into compelling content and actionable insights that raise its profile in the market.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who can do more than write well. You'll need to be curious, investigative and commercially aware, with the ability to find the story within complex subject matter and turn it into content that informs, engages and creates conversation.
Working closely with senior subject matter experts and business leaders, you'll identify emerging issues, conduct research and interviews, interrogate data and develop content that positions the firm and its people as credible voices on issues that matter to the insurance industry.
You'll sit within the Marketing team and play an important role in shaping the firm's thought leadership and communications agenda.
You're a strong writer, but you're not simply a writer.
You're naturally curious. You enjoy getting under the skin of a subject, asking questions and working out why something matters. You can take a complex issue, identify the interesting angle and turn it into something an intelligent business audience will want to read.
Your background could be in corporate communications, journalism, content, publishing, research or professional services marketing.
Experience with thought leadership, events, data-led content or legislative and government policy research would be advantageous, but is not essential.
You might be a journalist who has moved into corporate communications.
You might be a communications or content specialist who wants to become more involved in research, insight and strategy.
Or you might already be working in professional services and have developed a reputation for turning complex expertise into content that gets noticed.
This is an opportunity to play a visible role in building the profile of a growing specialist consulting business.
You'll have access to experienced practitioners, industry intelligence and a wealth of knowledge, and your job will be to turn that expertise into ideas, insights and content that have genuine value in the market.
It's a role for someone who wants to be close to the subject matter, close to senior decision-makers and close to the conversations shaping an industry.
If you can take what a business knows and turn it into something the market wants to hear, this could be a very interesting next move.
