We're looking for an experienced Communications Engineer to provide specialist high-frequency (HF) engineering support to a Defence communications capability in Canberra, covering both its sustainment and its enhancement. You'll bring extensive HF expertise to system design, analysis and performance evaluation, and give high-quality engineering feedback on contractor deliverables. You'll work as part of the wider project team, taking part in design reviews, technical working groups and engineering governance, and exercising authorised engineering delegation while keeping oversight of technical risks. The role suits a chartered engineer with leadership experience, who can coach and guide others in implementing change.
$170,000 - $175,000 (Package incl. Super), pro rata for the duration of this engagement
