Job description

We’re partnering with a major global leader in marketing, media and customer experience — a business with more than 60,000 employees across 145+ countries and a powerful APAC footprint.

This is an exciting APAC Communications & Engagement Manager opportunity, a true blend of internal communications, executive partnership, stakeholder engagement and operational enablement. This is not a typical internal comms role — you'll be supporting the APAC Chief People Officer and acting as a critical connector across the regional HR leadership team.

With the current incumbent stepping away on maternity leave in December, we’re searching for someone who can confidently step into a fast-paced, highly visible role that is central to how the APAC HR function operates.

About the Role

You will work closely with the APAC Chief People Officer and APAC HR Operating Office Director, acting as an advisor, communicator, planner and trusted partner. You’ll manage regional communications, drive operating rhythms, coordinate senior leadership inputs and support major HR initiatives across APAC.

Travel to Singapore for key leadership events/offsites may be required.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Planning
  • Partner with the APAC Chief People Officer to support broader business objectives and priorities.
  • Act as a central conduit between the CPO and the APAC HR Leadership Team, ensuring alignment, clarity and seamless communication.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders regionally to support decision‑making and business outcomes.
  • Act as an intermediary on internal issues/crises, coordinating responses, actions, insights and reporting.
Operations & Organisational Enablement
  • Drive operating rhythms, reporting cycles and key deliverables across the regional HR leadership team.
  • Manage complex global/APAC calendars, competing priorities and high‑stakes requests.
  • Plan and deliver leadership meetings, APAC HR offsites, agendas, logistics and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate travel, itineraries, expenses and logistics end‑to‑end.
Communications & Engagement
  • Own and deliver the annual APAC employee and HR communications plan.
  • Draft internal announcements, talking points, regional updates, newsletters, presentations and leadership communications.
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence to gather inputs and shape high‑quality, well‑designed comms and decks.
  • Ensure consistency of tone, messaging and engagement across the region.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality while navigating sensitive topics and high‑level stakeholder interactions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong internal communications or employee engagement experience in a large, complex, fast‑moving organisation.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders (local + regional).
  • Experience managing deadlines, workflows, competing stakeholder needs and multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft polished narratives, talking points and executive‑ready communications.
  • Strong PowerPoint/visual storytelling skills (a flair for deck design is essential).
  • Highly proactive, organised, resilient and comfortable working at pace.
  • APAC experience is a plus but not essential.
Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to step into a high‑impact, highly visible APAC position where no day is the same. You’ll be the right hand to a regional Chief People Officer, own communications at scale, orchestrate leadership rhythms and help shape engagement across one of the largest integrated communications networks in the world.
