Job summary

Resource Services Group (RSGx) is seeking experienced Mechanical Commissioning Technicians to join our team on a major mining-related project near Newman, WA. You will contribute to mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment in a remote Pilbara setting.

Ideal candidates will have Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner trade certification, a White Construction Card, working at heights and confined space training, plus at least 5 years of proven

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Trade Certificate.
• Construction Card (White) is required.
• Working At Heights training.
• Confined Space Entry training.
• Australian Working Rights.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
• Work closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
• Verify mechanical completion and ensure equipment installed per project requirements.
• Assist with pre-commissioning, functional testing, inspections and fault identification.
• Support defect rectification and punch-list close-out activities.
• Ensure equipment is tested, compliant and ready for safe operation and handover to operations team.

Work Scope:

• As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Support the mechanical commissioning, testing and handover of fixed-plant equipment.
• Work closely with construction, commissioning, engineering and operations teams throughout the commissioning process.
