Our client, a well-regarded Sydney law firm, seeks an experienced Associate for its Commercial Law practice. You will work with senior practitioners on high‑quality, commercially focused matters and gain hands-on exposure in a boutique environment.

The role centres on M&A, corporate structuring, commercial contracts, and property matters, including leasing, with a clear progression path and competitive remuneration aligned with mid-market firms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' post-qualification experience in Australia in corporate, commercial and/or property law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage matters with a degree of independence while working within a high-performing team.
• Collaborative, down-to-earth with a strong work ethic.
• Seeking genuine long-term career progression and increased responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist on M&A, business acquisitions and disposals, corporate structuring and shareholder arrangements.
• Handle commercial contracts and property matters, including commercial leasing.
• Work closely with an experienced senior practitioner on complex matters in boutique environment.
