Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a Brisbane-based business to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. This newly created standalone role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insightful, automated reporting to support commercial decisions.

You will lead the development of drivers-based modelling, dashboards, and KPI frameworks, partnering with leaders to drive performance and identify opportunities. Expect progression and market-competitive compensation.

Qualifications

CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
5+ years FP&A, commercial finance, or similar analytical roles.
Strong budgeting and forecasting ability with driver-based financial modelling.
Advanced Excel and Power BI capability including Power Query and data modelling.
Excellent communicator with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
Build financial models and perform scenario analysis.
Develop automated reporting, dashboards and KPI frameworks.
Deliver insights to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
Partner with leaders to drive performance and identify opportunities.
Prepare executive reporting for senior stakeholders.
Analyse profitability, cash flow and key business drivers.
Maintain reporting accuracy, governance and data integrity.
Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across finance processes.
