Job summary

Pasticceria Papa is looking for a reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our Haberfield team on a casual basis. You will maintain a clean, safe and hygienic food manufacturing and retail environment, with responsibilities across kitchens, bathrooms and common areas.

The role requires 2 years of cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a rotating roster including mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial cleaning
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Physical fitness for manual cleaning duties
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Flexible availability to work a rotating roster including mornings and evenings, Monday to Sunday

Responsibilities

• Carry out general commercial cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, staff amenities, kitchens and common areas
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with workplace procedures
• Clean floors, surfaces and equipment using appropriate cleaning products
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and materials
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
• Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and food safety procedures
• Maintain a professional attitude and presentation at all times

About the Role

As a Commercial Cleaner, you will play an important role in ensuring our workplace remains clean, safe and hygienic. Working within a food manufacturing and commercial environment, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards to support our operations and comply with food safety requirements.

• Physical fitness to undertake manual cleaning duties, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods

• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team

Required Availability

Applicants must have flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including morning and evening shifts, Monday through Sunday.
