Job summary
Talent Corp in Sydney is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician / Installer for permanent commercial AV installation projects. The role is hands-on and requires on-site work without constant supervision, focusing on fixed installations rather than events.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience with installing commercial AV systems, racks, cabling, and reading schematics. CTS/CTS-I certification and larger construction project exposure are highly regarded, with an EBA arrangement
Qualifications
- Experience installing commercial AV systems on fixed installations.
- Ability to build and dress AV equipment racks neatly and professionally.
- Skilled in roughing in, installing and terminating AV cabling.
- Able to read AV schematics, drawings and equipment layouts.
- Experience with displays, projectors, audio systems and AV infrastructure.
- Sound troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
- Familiarity with collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms.
- Covers license and construction safety requirements (White Card).
- CTS/CTS-I certification and larger project experience are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on installation work for commercial AV projects.
- Confidently complete installation tasks on-site with minimal supervision.
- Assemble and install equipment racks and cable routes to high standards.
- Install and terminate AV cabling per schematics and layouts.
