The College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Outdoor Educator, with relevant qualifications (such as Cert IV, Diploma or other relevant qualifications), to work at the College's Colo Outdoor Education (Colo Campus). This well-established centre is situated on 30 hectares bounded by the Colo River and the Wollemi National Park, with extensive facilities and equipment. The Colo campus is the base for the College's sequential Outdoor Education program for Years 7 - 9 and offers multiple program activities including adventure rope course, bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and leadership programs for Year 11 students.
The successful applicant will have strong skills and proven teaching experience in several of the program activity areas. In addition, display commitment to the value of Outdoor Education, pastoral care, curriculum development, along with personal attributes to teach in a close-knit professional team and community.
