We are working with a leading financial services organisation that provides commercial asset finance and consumer finance nationwide. As the business continues to grow, they are expanding their high performing collections team and looking for motivated professionals who want long term career development in a supportive, fast paced environment. You will join a collaborative team culture where training, progression, and clear career pathways are part of everyday life.

In this role, you will manage a front end portfolio of early stage and delinquent commercial and consumer accounts. You will be the first point of contact for customers and brokers, using clear communication and confident negotiation to reduce delinquency, resolve queries, and keep every account moving through the workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently manage outbound and inbound calls, ensuring effective communication with customers and brokers
  • Contact early-stage customers for collection purposes and skilfully negotiate payment of outstanding debts
  • Maintain detailed and accurate file action notes for all customer interactions, and utilize checklists as required
  • Identify and escape priority matters to the Team Leader for appropriate action and advice
  • Effectively manage your assigned portfolio, prioritising daily tasks through efficient time management
Qualifications
  • 12 months+ experience in collections (preferably from a financial service organisation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work efficiently in a team, as well as independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy level
