As a Barista / Café All-Rounder, you will help deliver excellent coffee, food and customer service throughout the day. You will work in a newly built café at Wangaratta Hospital, serving hospital staff, patients, visitors and the local community, offering quality coffee, breakfast, lunch, grab-and-go meals and dinner.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and other beverages.
• Operate commercial coffee machines and grinders, ensuring consistent coffee quality.
• Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service.
• Take customer orders and process payments through the POS system.
• Assist with food preparation and service, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and grab-and-go items.
• Refill displays, replenish stock and maintain attractive food presentation.
• Keep the coffee station, service areas and café clean and organised.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, cleaning and allergen management procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, stock rotation and general café operations.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
