Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Staff Specialist/GP VMO Anaesthetist for the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital on the NSW South Coast. You will deliver high‑quality anaesthetic care across a variety of procedures, including pre‑op assessment and post‑op care, in a collaborative perioperative team.

The role supports on‑site service delivery in a growing regional hospital and offers leadership opportunities in a multidisciplinary environment with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Eligible for registration with AHPRA and current registration.
• Advanced Rural Generalist Anaesthesia qualification or accreditation.
• Demonstrated recent clinical anaesthesia experience.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe anaesthetic care across a range of surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia administration and post-operative management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in on‑call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time.
