Job summary

The Pharmaceutical Locum Company – Mackay QLD is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join a supportive team as a second pharmacist, managing approximately 200 scripts daily using FredNXT within a busy Queensland coast pharmacy.

Trading hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday shifts 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and weekend rostering. Relocation assistance and initial rental support are on offer to the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with AHPRA or eligible for registration.
• Experience in patient counseling and medication management is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 200 scripts daily using FredNXT.
• Provide clinical counseling to patients and ensure safe, effective pharmacotherapy.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain efficient operations.
• Support a positive patient experience and uphold professional standards.
