ALS Coal – Richlands, QLD is seeking a dedicated Coal Quality Tester to join our Analytical Laboratory team. Based at our Acland site, you will perform coal testing and analysis, ensuring safe, accurate results and meeting client expectations.

Reporting to the Analytical Laboratory Manager, you will validate results, maintain equipment, and optimise turnaround times while following SOPs. A strong team spirit and commitment to quality are essential as we support a healthier future through

Competenze

Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating between day and night.
Good organisation and communication skills.
Valid Drivers’ License.
Previous industry experience would be an advantage.

Mansioni

Ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and to agreed standard operating instructions.
Checking and validating all results to ensure that they are within repeatability tolerances.
Maintaining laboratory equipment: Preparation Equipment, Ovens/Furnaces, Balances.
Optimising turnaround time for samples whilst ensuring the highest quality of results is achieved and maintained.
Ensuring Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures are followed.
Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and presentation of all equipment and work areas.
