Job summary

You will provide expert nursing care and drive evidence-based practice for patients with complex needs, working closely with medical teams and a patient flow manager.

You must hold current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration, with post‑registration qualifications and substantial drug and alcohol sector

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration.
• Post-registration qualifications relevant to the role.
• Significant experience in the drug and alcohol sector.
• Experience in inpatient withdrawal management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery for inpatient withdrawal management beds.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient bed management and high-quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based care and mentor colleagues to improve outcomes.
