Job summary

Jason Gannon Cabinetmakers in Cleveland, QLD is seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our growing machine shop. You will operate flat bed CNC lines on Anderson and Sabre machinery, and work with edgebanders to support kitchen, bath and cabinetry projects.

We value accuracy, pride in quality, reliability and teamwork. A couple of years of CNC experience helps, and a forklift licence is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing team.

CNC Machine Operator (FLAT BED) – Join Our Growing Team!

Jason Gannon Cabinetmakers (JGC Projects Pty Ltd) is a well-established business with over 25 years in the industry, manufacturing kitchens, bathrooms and custom cabinetry for residential builders across South East Queensland.

Our business continues to grow, and we're looking for another CNC Machine Operator to join our busy Machine Shop Team.

About the Role

We operate two CNC production lines, incorporating Anderson and Sabre CNC machinery and Edgebanders, in our well-equipped Cleveland factory.

Your role will involve:

• Operating CNC machinery as part of our daily production
• Ensuring accuracy, quality and consistency
• Maintaining an organised and efficient workflow
• Working alongside our Machine Shop and Production Teams
• Taking pride in keeping your machinery and work area running smoothly

Who We're Looking For

Ideally, we're looking for someone with a couple of years of solid CNC operating experience, but we're just as interested in finding someone who genuinely enjoys working with machinery and has the right attitude.

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with machinery and takes pride in accuracy
• Has experience operating CNC machinery, ideally in a production environment
• Is organised, reliable and works well within a team
• Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Holds a current LF Forklift Licence – not essential, but definitely an advantage! (If you're not currently licensed, we can assist you with obtaining one in the future.)

• Is looking for a stable, long-term position

Cabinetmaking experience is NOT essential! If you've operated CNC machinery in another industry, we'd still love to hear from you. We're happy to teach the cabinetry side of things to the right person.
