Job summary

Job description

A successful Engineering company specialising in a vast range of industries needs a Trades Person that can operate set and program at the machine, a CNC Machine Centre and at times use a conventional Machines.

The business has expanded over the last few years and this is a new position that will involve various tasks. They have a clean modern workshop with staff that stay.

You will be involved in setting and running CNC machine centre including at times conventional machines. You will be doing jobbing type and low volume work.

This is an all-round trade role that is offering plenty of variety for the right person. Someone with a trade background will be ideal for this role.

They need someone that can go from machine to machine and has good setting skills in conventional and CNC. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• CNC machining skills a must
• Machinist OR toolmaker by trade - MUST HAVE TRADE.

A permanent full-time position will be offered to successful candidates with an excellent hourly rate and plenty OT if desire.
