Medlo COLLINGWOOD is seeking a locum General Medicine Registrar for a temporary, full-time position in Ballina, NSW. The role is suitable for a PGY5+ clinician with on-call duties for inpatient and rehabilitation wards if ED night shifts cannot be covered.

Weekday Day shift: 0800-1630; Weekend Day shift: 0800-1600 with paid meal breaks. Travel reimbursement and accommodation provided if required. Telehealth shifts may be available via Doccy as needed.

Qualifications

• PGY5+ position
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts
• NSW WWCC clearance and Police Check clearance may be required

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care as a General Medicine Registrar
• Be available for on-call overnight shifts if ED night coverage is insufficient
• Cover Weekday Day shifts (0800–1630) and Weekend Day shifts (0800–1600) with appropriate breaks

Job Description

This is a locum doctor role for a General Medicine Registrar at Ballina in NSW. ### Role Info CMO

Please note that with this position, you may be required to be on call overnight for the wards (inpatient and rehabilitation units) if Emergency Department night shifts are unable to be covered. This will be confirmed at the time of booking. You will be remunerated for one hour of on call at your booked hourly rate.

If you are required to attend the hospital, you will be reimbursed for the hours worked in accordance with the applicable rate. A consultant will also be on call and available to provide support and escalation if required. Weekday Day shift: 0800-1630 (unpaid meal break) Weekend Day shift: 0800-1600 (paid meal break)

• Please note there is provision for a 0800-2200 shift on the weekends where there is a vacancy for day and evening.
