Job summary

APG Workforce is recruiting an Asset / Maintenance Engineer for Transport NSW in Tweed Heads West. The role focuses on CMMS data, maintenance plans and work orders within SAP/S/4HANA, collaborating with asset teams.

Ideal candidates have CMMS/EAM experience, strong Excel/data skills and an Australian four‑year engineering degree, plus a current licence. The contract runs ASAP through 6 January 2027, with 40 hours per week at AUD 800–1,000 per day plus Super.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or related discipline) from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Hands-on experience with a CMMS or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
• SAP PM/EAM or SAP S/4HANA experience is highly desirable, but strong experience with another CMMS/EAM platform will also be considered.
• Current Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, cleansing and structuring existing asset and maintenance data.
• Developing and improving asset maintenance plans.
• Creating, reviewing and improving maintenance work orders.
• Supporting the setup and management of asset information within SAP S/4HANA.
• Identifying gaps and opportunities to improve asset data quality and usability.
• Working with engineers, maintenance teams and technical specialists to ensure asset information supports operational requirements.
• Supporting continuous improvement of asset management and maintenance processes.
