Job summary

Snap Fitness Tarneit is seeking a proactive Club Manager to oversee daily operations, drive membership growth and profitability, and provide leadership to staff and contractors.

You will recruit gym staff and trainers, manage budgets and reporting, handle administration, and actively support members on their fitness journey.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Fitness (or equivalent), current First Aid and CPR, and a working with children check; HR and WHS knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Be people-focused and highly organised.
• Have experience in building/recruiting a personal training team.
• Have experience building a club culture to be proud of and gain satisfaction from operating, selling and promoting an exceptional fitness facility.
• Experience in, or understanding of, human resource and work health and safety processes is desirable.
• Minimum Certificate III in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).
• Must have appropriate police/working with children check.
• Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.

Job description

The Club Manager is accountable for the operations of the Club and is responsible for a number of key outcomes of the associated business. The position plays a significant role in planning, drives sales and profitability, provides leadership, supervision and development to subordinate Club staff and manages/oversees personal training contractors.
