Job summary

Saddleback Solutions in Canberra is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Architect/Consultant to lead customer workshops, drive deployments from kickoff to handover, and provide architectural guidance across multi-cloud environments. You will translate business requirements into designs, produce HLDs/LLDs/runbooks, implement CSPM and CWPP, and embed security into CI/CD pipelines.

4–5+ years in cyber security; Prisma/Cortex Cloud; AWS/Azure/GCP; container security with Kubernetes; Terraform;

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or professional services (10+ years for Senior roles).
• Direct experience with Prisma Cloud, Cortex Cloud, or strong CSPM/CWP products.
• Hands-on architectural experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in container security (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE), Terraform, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Proven ability to manage time-to-value (TTV), handle complex multi-cloud environments, and enable/train customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing delivery: workshops, deployments from kickoff to handover, with best-practice architectural guidance.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs; author HLDs, LLDs, and runbooks.
• Deploy and engineer CSPM/CWPP security capabilities.

We have an education services arm also, so our consultants once qualified can also offer their services running workshops or bootcamps between projects or even full time.

Tasks

• Customer-Facing Delivery: Lead technical workshops, manage deployments from kickoff to operational handover, and provide best-practice architectural guidance to clients.
• Solution Architecture: Translate business requirements into technical designs; author High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational runbooks.
• Cloud Security Implementation: Deploy and engineer Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection (CWPP) capabilities.
• DevSecOps Integration: Embed security tools into developer CI/CD pipelines (Shift-Left security) and secure cloud workloads.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or professional services (10+ years for Senior roles).
• Product Expertise: Direct experience with Prisma Cloud, Cortex Cloud, or strong highly-transferable experience with competing CSPM/CWP products.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on architectural experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Containers & IaC: Strong proficiency in container security (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS/GKE), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Consulting Attributes: Proven ability to manage time-to-value (TTV), handle complex multi-cloud environments, and enable/train customers.
