Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Deployment Officer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases. The role focuses on deployment activities, change management, and continuous improvement of release practices.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors while ensuring changes are implemented accurately and on time. This temporary fixed-term role runs until 30 June 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in software release and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of change management and release governance.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases for Transport for NSW.
• Managed change approvals (e.g. ServiceNow and CAB).
• Verifies releases and supports post-implementation reviews.
• Contributes to maintenance and project-based deployments.
