Job summary

Delivery Centric is seeking a Database & Data Engineer to build and support scalable cloud-native data solutions using SQL and AWS data services. Expect strong emphasis on data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance.

Applicants should have 5+ years in data engineering, hands-on AWS Glue, Redshift, and Snowflake experience, plus Python or PySpark proficiency, and familiarity with Git and Agile delivery. NSW, Australia-based role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Database and Data Engineering.
• Strong expertise in SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on AWS data services experience: Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, QuickSight, DMS.
• Experience with data modelling and SQL development.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark.
• Experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-native data solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and operational support.
• Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
