Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience managing AWS Cloud services and/or Azure and O365 Cloud Services.
  • Extensive experience in AzureAD administration, scripting and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Certification in AWS Certified SysOps Administration or equivalent is highly desirable.

Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Engineer

13-month fixed term contract, potential to be extended

About the role

Reporting into the Infrastructure & Cloud Security Manager, the Cloud Infrastructure and Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting V / Line’s infrastructure and cloud solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support V / Line’s infrastructure and cloud solutions hosted in AWS.
  • Assist the Cloud Architect responsible for designing and building scalable and secure architecture solutions.
  • Design, develop, test and deploy custom workflows and scripts within V / Line’s AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment for integration, deployment, monitoring, compliance or routine tasks.
  • Build, monitor and manage V / Line’s cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide on-call assistance to enable support in a 24x7 environment.
About you
  • Must have hands‑on experience managing and administrating AWS Cloud services, and / or Azure and O365 Cloud Services.
  • Must possess a pro‑active attitude, and be passionate about learning new processes / technologies.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite of Products (O365 & SharePoint) and assessing end user requirements.
  • Extensive experience in AzureAD administration, scripting and Microsoft Active Directory, backup, archive and storage.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or Analytical discipline (highly desirable).
  • Certification in AWS Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified SysOps Administration (highly desirable).
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (highly desirable).

Remuneration for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
