Accenture is seeking an experienced cloud engineer to deliver AWS-based cloud solutions and modern DevOps practices. You’ll design, build, and support scalable cloud environments across large transformation programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable deployments.

The role emphasizes AWS workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK. Strong scripting and Linux admin skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on AWS cloud experience across large-scale transformations.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (Build/Release, YAML).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker) and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
  • Working knowledge of JSON/YAML for configuration and pipelines.

Job description

  • Join a high-performing team delivering cloud solutions across Melbourne, Canberra, or Brisbane

  • Work on AWS-led transformation projects with strong DevOps and automation focus

  • Contribute to end-to-end delivery across multi-environment cloud platforms

  • Due to the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens or individuals with active security clearance (at least Baseline clearance required).

About the role

You will play a key role in delivering cloud engineering solutions across large-scale transformation programs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud environments leveraging AWS and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML and classic)

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience managing multi-environment deployments

  • Strong scripting skills ( Shell / Powershell )

  • Familiarity with Linux systems administration

Preferred Experience / Qualifications

  • Experience in .NET full stack development

  • Exposure to cloud automation and DevOps engineering practices

  • Understanding of cloud enterprise architecture and service management

  • Experience with IT infrastructure operations in complex environments
