Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Sydney seeks a Cloud DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer with strong AWS and Azure skills. You will secure and automate cloud platforms, implement IaC with Terraform, and collaborate across Cloud, DevOps, and Cyber Security teams to drive secure, scalable solutions.

The role focuses on cloud security, CI/CD security, and automated controls in a contract, 12-month framework, with a dynamic global team.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of cloud-native security tools (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Policy).
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure, covering security governance and controls.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with hardening, code signing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Manage IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust and least-privilege access models.
• Build secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, and compliance reporting across enterprise cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Cyber Security teams.
