CareCone Group in Melbourne is seeking a Data Migration and Data Integration Engineer to design, develop and support data migration and integration solutions as part of modernising legacy systems and moving to cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to deliver reliable migration, reconciliation and data quality controls, building delta-loading pipelines and implementing audit logging.

Competenze

• Strong mastery of IICS CDI and CAI.
• Foundational understanding of Informatica MDM concepts.
• Proven experience writing data reconciliation scripts and automated validation routines.
• Deep proficiency in advanced SQL, stored procedures, and cloud DB optimization (Aurora, Redshift).
• Experience with API design (JSON, XML formats) and message-queue protocols.
• Experience with medallion architecture and IICS best practices; ability to deliver unit tests.
• Experience designing migration strategies to extract data from legacy databases into cloud data warehouses.
• Ability to develop and deliver unit tests for solutions and components.

• Legacy Extraction: Design and execute migration strategies to extract data from legacy on-premises databases and file repositories into modern cloud data warehouses.
• Schema Evolution: Manage schema mapping changes and historical data conversions while minimising business downtime during cutover windows.
• Phased Cutover Support: Build incremental, delta-loading pipelines to support parallel runs and phased system cutovers.
• Reconciliation Frameworks: Build and deploy automated data reconciliation pipelines to verify record counts, checksums, and totals across source, staging, and target layers.
• Audit & Logging: Implement comprehensive operational audit logging and exception-handling frameworks to quickly flag and report data discrepancies.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with data analysts and business users to resolve automated data mismatches and refine data reconciliation rules.
