Title: Senior Cloud Systems Administrator, Temporary - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

The Information and Digital Technology Unit within the Northern Beaches Council is responsible for the delivery of services that support the operational activities of the Council, enable delivery of services to the community by the various business units and allow direct access to information and services by the community.

Our opportunity :

The key focus areas of this role include:

1. Implement and support Cloud Solutions particularly within the Azure ecosystem. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining virtual servers and cloud infrastructure.
2. Support and manage Microsoft applications and services including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Intune, GitHub, Active Directory, Group policy and Copilot.
3. Managing the operations of foundational systems and services to support security compliance including, but not limited to, third party access platforms and digital certificates.
4. Work collaboratively with other SMEs to provide technical input and manage the migration of applications to the Cloud.

About you :

We’re looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys collaborating with their peers to join our Infrastructure Operations team. You will be hands‑on and bring your experience in designing, building, deploying and managing IT systems including Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. You will be part of a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
