Job summary

Audika, part of Demant, is seeking an experienced audiologist to work independently across HSP, DVA, private and insured clients. You will perform hearing assessments, prescribe and fit hearing aids, and consult clients using the latest technology.

This permanent, part-time role (9 days per fortnigh) offers opportunities to engage in local marketing events and to contribute to outcomes for clients. Join a collaborative team in a supportive, international environment.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Audiologist/Audiometrist with deep familiarity with hearing device products.
  • Active membership with a recognized audiology peak body.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and KPI-focused performance.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and empathy in client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive adult hearing services including wax removal (training provided) for diverse clients (HSP, DVA, private, insurance).
  • Perform precise hearing assessments and ensure accurate diagnostics.
  • Prescribe and fit hearing aids tailored to individual needs.
  • Participate in local area marketing events to raise awareness of hearing services.

About the role:

Being a part of the professional audiologists’ team at Audika, you will work independently providing services to HSP, DVA, private and insurance clients. This includes performing hearing assessments, prescription, fitting and consulting. You will have access to the latest hearing aid technology via various manufacturers to give you tremendous job satisfaction and greater client outcomes.

You will be successful in this role, if you are:
  • Experienced Audiologist/Audiometrist: Bring your wealth of experience in audiology and profound familiarity with hearing device products to our team.
  • Qualified Professional (QP) with Membership: Hold a QP qualification and maintain an active membership with a recognized audiological peak body, showcasing your commitment to the field.
  • Demonstrating an unwavering dedication to the growth and dissemination of hearing health knowledge, contributing to our mission.
  • Have proven Commercial Acumen: Showcase your commercial awareness with a track record of meeting and surpassing KPIs, underscoring your ability to thrive in a dynamic market.
  • Empathetic Communicator: Leverage your strong interpersonal communication skills and innate empathy to foster meaningful connections with our valued customers.
