Job summary

Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety – Wacol QLD is seeking a Clinical Team Leader to supervise teams of Clinicians, providing clinical guidance on treatment and life skills programs for clients with intellectual or cognitive disabilities who engage in offending behaviours. The role may involve duties under relevant acts and requires safety awareness.

You will lead staff development, coordinate training, monitor progress, and ensure practices align with the Forensic Disability

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Allied Health (Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy) or Human Services, Social Work or Behaviour Sciences.
• Overseas qualifications: consider Overseas qualification assessment for recognition in Australia.
• Experience in staff supervision.
• Possession of a C class driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams of Clinicians to ensure high-quality client services and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Identify and organise staff training to improve service delivery.
• Lead performance reviews, ACP meetings, recruitment, and manage performance and absence.
