Monash Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (Nurse) for the Victorian Heart Hospital in Melbourne. The role focuses on coordinating cardiovascular clinical trials within our new trials space, supporting first-in-human and investigator-driven studies as part of a busy research unit.

This 12-month parental leave cover is fixed-term and part-time (0.8 FTE - 64 hours per fortnight). The successful candidate will bring nursing or science qualifications and a background in or willingness

Qualifications

• Current Division 1 nursing qualification or Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
• Relevant post-graduate tertiary or equivalent healthcare qualifications.
• Previous clinical trial experience preferred, but not essential.
• Background knowledge in cardiology preferred, but not essential.
• Full Victorian Drivers Licence.

Clinical Research Coordinator (Nurse), Victorian Heart Hospital

We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Research Coordinator who is familiar with the care of cardiovascular patients, to coordinate clinical trials conducted by the structural heart team at VHH in our new purpose built clinical trials space in the Victorian Heart Hospital. We are a busy and expanding research unit participating in an increasing number of major international, multi-centre clinical trials, including first in human studies and investigator driven research and are at the forefront of cardiovascular research.

About You
