Job summary

Syneos Health Australia Pty Ltd is hiring a Clinical Monitor to oversee site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits, performed onsite or remotely. You will ensure regulatory, ICH-GCP and GPP compliance and collaborate with the project team to address issues.

The role requires a life sciences degree and at least 2 years of independent monitoring experience, with strong communication and time-management skills, and work rights in AU/NZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Life Sciences degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years independent clinical monitoring experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand; visa sponsorship may be available.

Job description

• Performs site qualification, site initiation, interim monitoring, site management and close-out visits (performed onsite or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practices (GPP) and protocol compliance.
• Uses judgment and experience to evaluate overall performance of site and site staff and to provide recommendations regarding site-specific actions; immediately communicates/escalates serious issues to the project team and develops action plans.
• Maintains a working knowledge of ICH/GCP Guidelines or other applicable guidance, relevant regulations, and company SOPs/processes.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree or College/University degree in Life Sciences or equivalent qualifications
