Uniting NSW & ACT is seeking a Permanent Part Time Chinese-speaking Registered Nurse with aged care experience to lead and deliver comprehensive resident care. You will develop and evaluate care plans, coordinate with the health team, and advocate for each resident’s quality of life in a supportive clinical environment.

You will supervise Personal Care Workers, apply holistic clinical judgement, and remain committed to ongoing professional growth within a values-driven service.

Qualifications

• You’ll have prior registered nursing experience in aged or community care.
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, and have excellent time management.
• You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
• You’ll be Chinese speaking.

Responsabilités

• Lead resident care planning by developing, delivering and evaluating care plans to meet individual needs.
• Provide clinical services with sharp assessment skills and lead clinical care.
• Build rapport with each resident and be a core part of their daily life.
• Ensure care aligns with residents’ personal goals and preferences.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ families to advocate for quality of life.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Lead the team with holistic decision‑making and clinical leadership.

Permanent Part Time Chinese Speaking RNs with experience in an Aged Care setting.

What you’ll be doing in this role

• You will be a clinical leader in the service and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
• You’ll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services
• Get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life
• Play an important role in making sure the care provided meets residents’ individual goals
• You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
• Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers
• Practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team.

Who we’re looking for

• You’ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
