Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a psychologist to provide specialist psychological care within the Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service in Rockhampton. The role involves screening, assessment, intervention and referral for clients with alcohol and other drug concerns, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

This position requires AHPRA registration, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Psychology with current AHPRA registration.
• Post-graduate qualifications in psychology or addiction would be highly regarded.
• Strong clinical psychology expertise and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological care to clients with alcohol and other drug issues.
• Use screening, assessment, intervention and referral.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to service improvement.
