About the Role

You’ll work closely with expert clinicians and academic staff, delivering high-quality education and mentoring students during clinical placements. The role is based at our Melbourne (Bundoora) campus, with potential to work across Alfred Health, Austin Health, Northern Health, and Melbourne Health clinical schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging undergraduate teaching through lectures, practical classes, workshops, and clinical sessions.
  • Prepare and mark student assessments, ensuring fair and timely feedback.
  • Participate in curriculum design and review, embedding employability skills and evaluating educational innovations.
  • Mentor and supervise students during clinical placements, liaising with external partners.
  • Continue developing your professional practice and contribute to the School’s research and teaching excellence.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required by the Associate Dean (Academic) or Dean of School.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent accreditation in nursing and/or midwifery.
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and curriculum development, with evidence of high student feedback or teaching awards.
  • Recent and relevant clinical/professional experience in nursing and/or midwifery.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
