About the role

The ideal candidate will bring leadership capability along with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Based at our Springfield campus, these roles are a part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — which opened early 2026. As Mater’s first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.
Salary range: $57.48 - $61.55 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
As a Clinical Nurse you will provide advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met. The CN provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and research. The role supports management activities, including portfolio responsibilities where applicable.
