St John of God Subiaco Hospital seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse for the Orthopaedics unit. You will lead the orthopaedic nursing team, supervise staff and coordinate care from pre-operative to recovery, ensuring patient-centred care.

Current AHPRA registration as an RN is essential, with at least 3 years in orthopaedic nursing; neurosurgical experience is highly regarded. Flexible, pro rata 28 hours/week, with salary packaging and wellbeing benefits.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical leadership skills while delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing elective orthopaedic procedures, including joint replacement, bone and spinal surgery. As a **Clinical Nurse**, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise, supervise and mentor nursing staff, and coordinate safe, patient-centred care throughout the surgical journey, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery. You will promote best practice in wound care, pain management and early mobilisation, working collaboratively with surgeons, physiotherapists and other stakeholders to achieve positive patient outcomes. The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and have significant recent orthopaedic nursing experience, ideally with a minimum of three years in the specialty. Neurosurgical experience will be highly regarded. You will demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate care, manage competing priorities, support team performance and resolve issues effectively.
