Job summary

Ingham Health Service in Queensland is seeking a Clinical Nurse to deliver direct nursing care, applying clinical skills, education and support to patients and staff to ensure best practice and high-quality care within the Ingham Health Service.

Qualifications

• On-call roster may be required.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.

• Salary range: $114,532 to $122,643 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
• Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Highly Desirable: Extensive experience in Emergency Department and a current Adult Life Support certificate.
• On-call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
• Travel: This position may be required to travel to and work at, other facilities located within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service, e.g., participate in clinical activities or meetings
