Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland’s Buderim Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a permanent part-time basis (minimum 0.6 FTE). You will deliver person-centred care, apply clinical knowledge and risk management, and lead with strong communication under time pressure while coordinating ward loads.

Clinical Nurse - Emergency | Buderim Hospital

Employment Term: Permanent Part Time Opportunity (minimum 0.6 FTE)

Remuneration: $ 55.63 - $59.61 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

You’ll be adept at managing conflicting priorities whilst remaining patient‑focused under time pressures.

As a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency department, you will

• Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
• Commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
• Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health
• Effectively and accurately exchange, retrieve and manage information relevant to your role
• Exercise authority through appropriate decision making
• Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management, including incident management
